Bang Bang!
"bang bang" ---
the sound of a car backfiring echoes across the balmy crimson evening,
must get that exhaust fixed...
"clink clink" ---
the noise of the ice cubes splashing into malt whiskey,
the smell of recently-purloined Cuban cigars distilled in the salty breeze...
"Woof Woof" ---
a grumpy dog barks his disapproval in a low guttural growl,
he doesn't like intruders on his patch nor the heady scent of new money...
"Ding dong" --- rings the internal security bell,
Who's she??
The glass almost slips out of my hand unnoticed...
Who is the tall dark lady in the long red dress who just came in and lit up the room?
"Hey, I'll be back in 5 minutes,"

mmm... ice cubes splashing into malt liquor. This is pretty cool stuff. I'm not sure what your intentions are on hubpages, but I recommend taking the time to gather more followers, simply because your poetry can handle a much larger audience.
