Hi,

I'm Damian... I come from Belfast in N Ireland and I love it here --- the lifestyle, the culture and the people... the language itself too and the way that people express themselves. I have always had a passion for books, I don't like to say Literature because it immediately makes it something high-brow, is it not better just to say "good books?"

I digress --- I think my passion started when my father read stories to me and it has just grown since then, I have been exceptionally lucky in that all the English teachers I have had were great even if some of them are as mad as snakes!! But great nevertheless. Men and women with a passion for their subject. I owe a lot to them. Anyway, I should stop, when I start to talk about books or drama / poetry I love I could go on... and on... and on... etc.
